Did you try doing the other tests above?
It would be greatly appreciated if you can do these tests plus the info requested. Many problems caused by other plugins and themes are well known and some others can be easily solved.

You need to do a couple of things.
1. One have a edit page with the [wpuf_edit] shortcode
2. Set the option ‘Edit Page’ in the ‘Options’ tab to that page
3. Set the option ”Override the post edit link’, ‘ in the ‘Options’ tab to ‘Yes’TheProfessor
Not on the free version or the current development version. The PRO version may fix this but I haven’t tried it in this regard.
The next release will fix this but it may be a couple of weeks as we are busy fixing upcoming WordPress 3.6 issues and will not be releasing it to these are fixed

Obviously this doesn’t happen normally to Frontend so something else is causing this.
1. Try using one of the default themes of WordPress to see if the problem persists. Themes are often the cause of problems.
2. Disable other plugins to see if they are the cause of the problem.
Tell us the results of above and what versions of Frontend and WordPress you are using and your theme.

CarlosJMOS your problem is probably very different. It could be a plugin or theme conflict so firstly use FTP to delete the frontend plugin. If it is a Frontend conflict problem this should allow you to use the WordPress back end again. Then disable all other plugins and use a WordPress default theme. Then reinstall WP User Frontend and enable it to see if it works. Then re-enable your prefered theme. Check, and then re-enabled and check all the other plugins one by one.
Make sure you tell us the results so we can help others.

‘WordPress Access Control’ does have problems with WPUF. Search the forum for info on this.

Not really sure for the info you have given.
Have you set up your permalinks correctly.
“You need to set your permalink custom structure to at least contain /%postname%/ before WP User Frontend will work properly.”
Else try disabling other plugins with a default WordPress theme.

As mentioned in the original article try this latest development version as it includes a fix for this.

All our versions can do this.
The free version and the development version provide the “Add attachment” button which allows you to upload images which are optionally then displayed as thumbnails. Alls fine for you is the plain text editor is what you want. However if the rich text editors are used users the image upload facility uses the standard wordpress media library which allows everybody to see everybodies images.
For the pro version you can upload images via the editor “insert photo” button or the “image upload” button. Neither allows access to the WordPress Media Library so this will do everything you have asked for

UPDATE: Actually the bug I mentioned in the last post for the fork only exists for WordPress 3.4.2 and maybe earlier. It works fine for WordPress 3.5.1. It’s also easy to use for adding captions.
Unfortunately this will also knock out all the functions of init which includes users passwords, featured image uploader and removal , ajax categories and the checking of forms.
Could you please try commenting out the lines in init one by one so we can pinpoint your problem.
Also which slider are you using?
