thanks for this.. had same issue.,. works now but wp is saying there is an update.. kinda annoying.
where are these settings you refer to?
wait never mind, had the wrong AMP plugin .. changed to this one (they both have same name)
i resolved the 3rd party font css load issues however I’m trying to use the swift theme for the amp pages and it doesn’t work (seems like no css loads for it)
Can you help with that?
ok.. and just how would you remove them since they are being auto-inserted by various WP plugins, and so on.???
also, just to note, I do not know what page your screenshot is.

OK cool.. not that we use the hide option much but its nice to have.
I’m 98.5% sure its Simple Social Buttons as this inspected HTML shows:

Its is the only button and spans used in the post once submitted.
Also of note, the hide sinmple social buttons check-box in the add post doesn’t work.
We’ll hold off on granting wp-admin access until absolutly needed.

what’s strange is that it doesn’t always show it, but lately its been popping up a lot.
I tried to make a vid, but my capture software is acting up and all I got was a black screen.. so here is a screenshot of the error i see after submitting a post:

If you insect the HTML code of the post the only spans and button are generated by this plugin.

Yeah I hear ya..
Ok I’ll look into it as well..
I’ve been using cPanel’s mod_sec since I got this server some 5 yrs ago.. wasn’t broke (for the most part) using the default cPanel supplied rules.. so unless they have changed and auto-applied, it should be working normally.
Oh well .. gotta find some way to secure this WP install that doesn’t break the site.

wow, i don’t think that is a wise idea.. this is a shared server.. and it needs to be as secure as possible in that environment..
apparently your plugin is triggering multiple mod_sec rules.. perhaps you guys need to rework the code a bit?

I tried to temp disable the affected mod_sec rules but there are a few too many to deal with..
I guess we will just have to remove this plugin as we can’t get the damn thing to work properly.
