So I know this post has been marked as resolved, but I came upon the same problem and just checked, ran a search and only found one .zip file in my directory (the one from the package file). If it’s any help, aside from what people posted above is also says at the bottom “Note: Manual extraction still requires the package.zip file “
Thanks!

In reply to: Margins for post text on homepage myseriously changedThanks! wow, yeah, fixing that one stray </div> at the end did it.
And Krishna, thanks for bringing my attention to the markup errors. I’ll confess I didn’t use a child theme and have been making edits directly to twenty eleven, but all those errors are worrying so I think it’s definitely time to replace the theme and then use the child theme.
This may be question for another forum, but I don’t have any experience fixing the 403 errors. Any resources you could point me to? It looks like the majority are of this type ” & did not start a character reference. (& probably should have been escaped as &.)”

In reply to: [Co-Authors Plus] only one author showing up w/ twenty eleven themeThanks Daniel. Looks pretty straightforward but would I want to do those replacements for all instances of the_author*()in my theme or just the author.php file and/or functions.php? Thanks.

In reply to: Keeping customization of twenty eleven after update?ouch, that’s what I was afraid of. I definitely didn’t–but now clearly should have–kept track of the customizations so I could copy them with the update, so looks like I’m stuck with option #1 and I’ll just not download the updated version and keep trucking w/ this one. Thanks for the quick response!
Thanks Vivek. Actually as a follow-up question, for the Facebook App id box, does this only work if I have a facebook app or can it also work if I have a facebook page? I was able to find a page ID that corresponds w/ my fb page (by going to graph.facebook.com/[mypage], but I don’t know if that number is working since it’s not “app id” but an “id.” Thanks

In reply to: Some pages not loading-404 errorSo following up on my own post, just left the slug blank and updated, but that didn’t work since it just auto-filled the slub again with the page title. Still, oddly, link doesn’t work. So I just changed the slug from “contributors” to “our-contributors”, left the title the same, and somehow it worked. Not sure why some page links only work with two words connected with a hyphen and some work as single words, but at least its working….

In reply to: Some pages not loading-404 errorInteresting. So I changed the slug of the “contact us” page from “contact” to “contact-us” and now that one works.
The contributors one though I didn’t change similarly, and it has the same slug format as the other pages. The page title is “Contributors” and slug is just “contributors”
If I left the slug blank and let it be auto-generated could that work?
Thanks again

In reply to: Some pages not loading-404 errorThanks for the quick reply.
Checked and all of the pages–the ones that work and don’t work–have the same parent–“Main Page (no parent)”–and Template–“Default Template.”
I realized that both the pages that don’t work had versions of the same name that had been deleted and were in the trash, so I even deleted those permanently, purged my page cache, deleted the menu links to broken pages, and then added them again just to test this, and still didn’t work….

In reply to: [Sociable] [Plugin: Sociable] The latest version does not save changessame problem and was thinking of re-installing the old version, but it looks like doing that would lose the +1s and facebook likes on old posts. is that right? And if so, any way around this?
