Serial numbers show only for the serial-enabled products. When you uncheck the «Sell Serial Numbers» checkbox for that product, then it does not become serial enabled. Therefore, serial numbers will not be shown in the orders. To show the serial numbers in the orders products must be serial enabled.

Yes, you can attach serial keys to your sold product by editing serial-number-enabled products.

First of all, you need to add serial keys to the product. From the serial number list, edit your chosen serial number and attach it to a sold product by providing an order ID.

First of all, duplicating serial numbers is not a free feature. If you want to duplicate serial keys, you will be needing WooCommerce Serial Numbers Pro in the first place.

Also, you cannot use the same generated or imported serial number unless you enable the option called Duplicate keys. In addition, a customer who has already got a serial number will not be able to get the same serial number is not a feature.

The feature is needed only for returning customers. The customer must log in to the profile he used for his first purchase. In case the returning customer signs up for a new account and purchases another serial key, it will not be possible to recognize whether the customer is returning or a new one. In addition, many sites allow guest user purchases. This is why the option is not included.

Additionally, we will soon release a newer version of WooCommerce serial Numbers with all necessary updates. Therefore the plugin will be commensurate with the latest WordPress version.

First of all, we did not mention anywhere that our plugin supports multiline serial numbers. It would be indeed a great feature that can be enhanced. For that, we want our customers to request a new feature first.

To ask for a new feature, we want our customers to communicate with us using LiveChat or our dedicated support page.

Our single line serial number can be augmented by adding a prefix, suffix, sequential pattern, random pattern, and both numeric and alphanumeric. You can also generate serial numbers datewise.

To be clear, in nearly all situations, a single one-star review published by a customer for not having a single feature but has hundred of new can be defamatory to the business.

Very soon, we will deploy multi-line serial numbers support.

Stock management works separately for each product. Therefore, it is not possible to set a maximum quantity to the available stock for all products at a time. Since stocks may vary product to product and if stock is enabled which is also product-specific, eventually the quantity of the stock will come to an end. Then it will not be possible to checkout.

Though you did not allow backorders, it doesn’t work in such way. Hope you find your answer.
