usually you should see something like dns1.yourdomain.com &/or dns2.blahblah.com …not exactly sure what wordpress dns looks like, but it will be roughly the same always.
e.g. purchased domain from go daddy
dns1.godaddy.com
purchased hosting from hostgator
dns1.hostgator.com is what it needs to be
