Thanks heaps mbrsolution! I didn’t delete all the WP security settings, only deleted the Brute Force setting and now I am able to login. Great thanks again
Re mbrsolution I checked the URL you suggested but that is no help since I cannot get into the WP dashboard. What I was hopping is that somebody could identify lines in the htaccess file that would be created by the brute force settings and that I could change or delete these lines so I can get back into the admin login.
I have a website on Godaddy and use the WP all in one security plugin. I changed the login url and now cannot login so I cannot get to the dashboard to make any further changes to security settings. The WP login url on the Godaddy C-Panel in unchanged, click on it and it returns a 404 error.
Should I see a change in the htaccess file to reflect the login url change and where in the htaccess file would I look for it?
