Moreover if WYSIWYG had problems with HTML tags creation, it wouldn’t be helpful at all. (I always use HTML editor, however).
Could you please tell me how to safely turn the WYSIWYG off?The workaround that I found is to write a dummy post without links, list and image, so that a new well-configured DB entry is create, and then enter the real HTML post directly into the database.
The next thing I would (ehm) “like” to do is to have a look at the php files and see what’s happening… but I still hope that somebody else, more skilled than me, already did this and could help me.
I forgot to say that this behaviour takes place with or without plugins and not only affects links, lists and images but also text formatting (italic, bold, …).

In reply to: WP cannot digest HTML tagsUpdate: I modified a post inserting some HTML tags (links, lists) directly on the database. It works perfectly: the links are shown and are working!
So I guess the problem is in the way WP translates the HTML tags from the editor to the DB.
How can I correct that?

In reply to: edit page not working!?!Edit: another thing I noticed is that, once I wrote a post, the preview button only shows the title and not the content. I usually write in the “visual” mode, so HTML is automatically generated. Could my WP be unable to cope with certain tags?

In reply to: edit page not working!?!Hi, I had almost the same problem with 2.3, upgraded to 2.5 but the problem still remains.
My blog is in the /blog directory of my website, when I try to write a post (or modify an old one) and click on “publish”, I see my homepage (located in the root / directory) without any WordPress message, and the blog doesn’t change.
I see that MySQL (v5.0.45) is working fine and my WP user has all the privileges (!). I didn’t change any configuration file, it just happened two days ago and I couldn’t find anything useful on the web.
