In reply to: Page organization – functionalityhuh. Ok well thanks.
I’ll get my hands on a fresh batch of sedatives just in case, and give it a shot. 😉Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Page organization – functionalityThanks HandySolo and mores. Much Appreciated.
Sounds like I’m sunk. I don’t have time to learn PHP (probably don’t have the patience either). Even if I paid to have this done (and probably can’t afford it) I’m betting that tweaks would have to be done every time WP upgraded for example – among other things.
Thanks again.

In reply to: Page organization – functionalityI guess this isn’t the right place for this. Is there a better place to get this question answered? Is there somewhere I can PAY to get this answered (not necessarily done)

In reply to: WP RemixSupport or even acknowledgment that a customer exists seems to be a problem for the WPRemix people. Or is it the WPremiss people?

In reply to: Page organization – Functionalityok – can I ask this.. IS this a simple change or will I have to have some PHP expert code this function?

In reply to: WP Remix vs WooThemesI was considering remix
I could be wrong but it appears that woo is a theme generator and Remix (at least as advertised) is a CMS (wantabe?) – That would be two different things to me. But again – I could be wrong.Given the complaints, concerns etc on WPRemix in other parts of this forum – I will not touch it.
also – I emailed the WPRemix gut weeks ago twice with a couple of simple questions – no word. If the sales function is this bad – support will be worse

In reply to: Links open in new window?I’m looking for the same thing!
The insert/edit link function will not accept any setting but “Open in Same Window”
I have tried several different ways to get to accept “Open in new window” but it always defaults back.
What’s the problem?
I”m at WP 2.3.1

In reply to: Registration EmailI’m having this problem but ONLY with those using SBC Global. All other users are receiving the password email.
I’m at 2.3.1 (and I’ve posted this is several threads hoping to get an answer too)
My guess is that SBC dosen’t like something in the return FROM address. Mine happens to have a hyphen: domain-name.com
I’ve had other issues with SBC users outside of the Blogosphere so I’m not surprized.
Still waiting for a response myself (and experimenting in the meantime)
I think I need to change the FROM address in the return email (at least that will be my next attempt) but not sure where to do that.
