The meta-description is virtually impossible to find and see. I can’t imagine what they were thinking. Hopefully they will come to their senses and fix this but until then I am sticking with an older version.

No, it does not occur on all of my pages. For some reason, it just occurs out a few.

This is what WPEngine told me:
Another way around this would be to export your wp_post and wp_postmeta tables from your database through PHPMyAdmin, then import the tables into the destination installation.
