In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] How Do I Rollback MLA to an Earlier Version?David,
Went and stuck that shortcode you said you tried on your site into the MLA Text Widget and put it in the sidebar and guess what? The slow queries are back.
If you need a screenshot let me know.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] How Do I Rollback MLA to an Earlier Version? In reference to your question – I have the setting in question set to “No, leave the [mla_gallery] shortcode alone.”
Now, I’m just thinking……. would the fact that I had 2 instances of MLA running each time a page was loaded (I had 2 different shortcodes running in the sidebar) have any effect?
And I’ll just add this – I don’t know if it has any relevance or not but, my site or more specifically, my sites across my hosting, have been having a little trouble lately with high CPU and memory usage. At first we thought it was DDOS attacks so I took efforts to secure things but apparently I am still having issues with high database query requests – or I was.
Could any of this be related?
I’m in contact with Matthew from Real Media library and last I heard he was going to look at my phpMyAdmin and see if there was a problem with my databases.Any further help I can be David is offered.

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] How Do I Rollback MLA to an Earlier Version?David – I’m using 2.92 and I am satisfied as far as MLA is concerned. I’m still getting a periodic slow query but it’s not from MLA.
When I get a little time I’ll try to reproduce the shortcode in the widget to see if it happens again. Being able to display the most recent images on my site was good content I thought.
Thanks again. If there’s anything I can do to help with the latest trouble I’d be glad to help.

No, I’m sorry but I deleted the code from the text widgets. I’m not sure I could recreate it verbatim from memory.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] How Do I Rollback MLA to an Earlier Version?David ….
I had some MLA shortcode in a text widget in the sidebar that I removed and everything seems to be running ok now.
Had 2 different widgets each displaying the latest images from separate attachment categories.
Could this have been the problem?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] How Do I Rollback MLA to an Earlier Version?Yes it is Real Media Library.
With it deactivated things do run better.
But the shortcode I’m using specifically calls up a Real Media Library.[justified_image_grid preset=c8 rml_id=313]And sorry for my ignorance, but what do you mean by the “Dropdown Control”?
Played around with the query thing a few times and I’m also seeing Justified Image Grid listed in the slow queries every now and then.

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] How Do I Rollback MLA to an Earlier Version? Thanks Dave, it use to work so maybe an earlier version will do.
Such a large part of my sites is dependent on MLA I can’t just not use it!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] How Do I Rollback MLA to an Earlier Version?Alright,
I finally got around to rolling MLA back to 2.84 and it actually got worse.
Is it possible to try a version earlier than 2.84?
Of course I thought it might be a plugin conflict but I disabled EVERY plugin on my site (except Askimet and Wordfence) and even loaded a different theme. No improvement. After disabling MLA everything goes back to normal.Forum: Plugins
