Same Problem here! Only “highslide”-effect is working which is wired, because in this thread only “thickbox” and “fancybox” are said to work without additional plug-ins: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/nextgen-lightbox-doesnt-work-with-wp-36?replies=14#post-4511571. And I don’t have additional plug-ins running!
