If your new icon is a black “IST” on a white background, then everything looks great on my side:
- I see your new icon with both Chrome and Firefox
- I couldn’t find any mistake in your code (eg. duplicated icon declarations, often due to a WordPress theme).
- The checker is full green and displays the new icon: http://realfavicongenerator.net/favicon_checker?protocol=http&site=www.studyoftexts.com%2F
It would be useful to visit your site with a browser you normally don’t use, to make sure you are not the victim of a caching issue. You can also try the “incognito mode” of Chrome. I can see that you checked the right option in the version/refresh tab, yet it is possible that your browser persists in its old habits…
