I’m sorry for the bad experience.
As far as I know there was no issue with the service these last few days, so there is no server-side explanation for this error.
This issue is very likely due to a transient glitch, especially if CURL is configured with a low timeout (which completely depends on your hosting provider). Did you try several times or only once? I’ve heard users could get rid of this annoying error on their second attempt.

Yep, when I started this project, I though showing the final aspect of the icons in real time was mandatory. Else, you just blindly click a button, hopping for the best.
