I have added the following line to the code you gave in reference, save the whole thing in Code Snippets, emptied the CDN and website’s caches, created a fake user. No change. I guess this was not what I had to do. Which instructions should I follow?

“Thank you for your membership to One Home Planet. Your Free membership is now active” was written by me but I cannot find where anymore. “A welcome email has been sent to [subscriber’s email]” seems to be a default message but I cannot find it in the relevant email templates for my use case.

Can I send you a temporary admin password (to a safe place)? I doubt any plugin would write sentences on its own.
