I have only three plugins, Akismet, Hello Dolly, and WordPress backup, none of which should affect the construction mode. I recall seeing somehwere that the construction mode is on as long as updates are in progress, but I have nothing running right now. Just need to figure out how to get OUT of construction mode, and I am sure there is a simple solution, but I am not finding it!
