That setting doesn’t really matter in this case. The fact is that emails are not being sent out from your WordPress site. We can’t help with that. It needs to be fixed by your hosting most likely.

Once again, this is not a PeepSo related problem. It’s a generic WordPress issue. If you don’t receive emails when trying to register then it’s your website’s problem, not PeepSo’s.

PeepSo is fine. Your site doesn’t send verification emails. Even when trying to register using WP registration your site does NOT send emails out.

Please contact your hosting about it. This is not a PeepSo issue, it’s a systemic WordPress / server misconfiguration.

Not possible. At least not out of the box. You’d have to have some custom modification to do that, but we really don’t recommend it. Opens your site to liability, without email confirmation people can sign up their friends or foes ‘just for fun’ and later you have to explain yourself how come you have someone’s email address.

We’d never ask for credentials to be passed in the open forum. That’s just crazy.

Users register, confirm email address and they are good to go. There’s no admin-verification required at least with this option disabled: http://docs.peepso.com/wiki/Enable_Account_Verification

The page containing [peepso_activity] shortcode is the one that provides login. It’s only visible to logged-out users.

Also you can use PeepSo Profile Widget.
