In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact Form 7 Form not renderingI had originally placed the shortcode in the ‘Custom HTML’ widget. I instead placed it in the ‘Text’ widget and it worked. My theme support team suggested it may be related to recent changes in how WordPress handles widgets and Blocks (I disable Gutenburg and do not use Blocks). Because it was working until recently this seems to make sense but why specifically I do not know.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact Form 7 Form not renderingHi
Yes. This page has a different CF7 contact form on: https://sandyhillarts.co.uk/volunteering-sandy-hill-arts/ As you can see it renders fine and it seems to submit without issue too (Success message received at least). One thing I have noticed with this though is that the shortcode entered on the page ([contact-form-7 id=”1523″ title=”Volunteer Enquiry form”]) differs to the actual shortcode showing in the CF7 panel ([contact-form-7 id=”4a0bb78″ title=”Volunteer at SHA – Enquiry Form”]). I think the former is the original shortcode before they changed (see my original message). It still appears to render even though the id references are different.
I have placed the same shortcode as used in the footer on a page (https://sandyhillarts.co.uk/form-test/) and it renders fine. So it seems that the issue may be confined to the shortcode in the footer.

In reply to: [Calculated Fields Form] Amend form’s email settings globallyHi
Thanks for the solution. I’ll give that a go (after making a backup first…)
Best regards
PaulHi
Thanks for replying. I have added the custom code and it has fixed the issue (I adjusted to 900px to match my site’s mobile breakpoint). Thank you so much for a prompt and effective response.
Best regards
PaulHi Niloy
Thanks for replying so quickly. That’s good news. Is it easy enough to configure the plugin to take just a refundable deposit?
Regards
PaulHi Aswin
I’m sorry but I’m not very knowledgable about user roles so I’m unsure how to set this up. Can you please advise further or point me to the reference in your documentation? So far I have set up a test page with a URL. Then under the ‘Ultimate Member: Content Restriction’ panel I have checked ‘Restrict access to this post?’ and selected ‘Administrator’ and ‘Subscriber’. However, when I input the URL in Incognito (ie, logged out mode) the page opens as normal without asking me to login as a Subscriber.
What am i missing?
Regards
PaulHi Joe
Thanks for replying and apologies for using the incorrect means of communication. Do you have a method whereby we can continue the discussion? I have set up a rudimentary page on a test site to show the sort of thing I’m trying to achieve:
https://candyapplegrey.co.uk/course/have-a-go-stone-carving-course
The bottom of the page shows how I would ideally like the calendar and booking options to appear. I’m presuming I can display the relevant items using shortcodes.

Hi
Thanks for replying so quickly and so comprehensively. So when the Facebook Sharing Debugger indicates that ‘Missing Properties: The following required properties are missing: fb:app_id’, I can just ignore this? Or do I need another plugin (other than Yoast) to fulfil this property?

In reply to: [Pinpoint Booking System - Version 2] How do I get a refund for this plugin?Hi
Yes, I did eventually. Initially they tried to argue that I couldn’t have a refund because it was a license renewal. However, when I pointed out to them that my original license had expired and it was technically a new license, they agreed to refund me in full. In fact the only reason I renewed (rather than purchase a new licence) was on the advise of their support who stated that by renewing, my original data would be retained (in fact, it wasn’t and I had to input all my data again). I eventually went for the Maestrel HBook plugin which was a joy to use with excellent support.Hi Takayuki
Thanks for reaching out. My knowledge of coding is minimal and so unfortunately your solution makes no sense to me. I have no idea what file to edit nor how to edit it to achieve a solution. Are you able to be more specific? I’m sure my query cannot be unique but I’m just failing to find a definitive solution any where.
Regards
PaulYou won’t be disappointed with HBook. You have infinitely more control over the style of the calendars and forms, the functionality is much more flexible and it was actually really easy to set up. Above all else, the support is really prompt and helpful; so much more pleasant to deal with than Pinpoint. And you can actually see working demos on their website: https://maestrel.com/hbook/. And to top it off, there’s only a single one-off charge per site for HBook rather than Pinpoint’s annual license renewal fee.
I agree. I’ve tried PinPoint twice (the second time to give it a second chance) but I wished I hadn’t bothered. The support for this product is appalling. They quote up to 48 hours but it often takes far longer; I currently have a support issue going back to 07/06/20 that has yet to receive a response (that’s a month ago). There is a reason that this plugin is sold ‘off-Envato’ and has no working demo on its own website; I’ll leave it up to you to work out why. If you want a decent booking plugin with excellent support go to Maestrel’s HBook plugin (I have no affiliation to them but it’s the plugin I now use instead of Pinpoint); they charge a one-off license purchase that is less than Pinpoint’s $95 annual fee.
