I am using GTramslate. I found the problem. It turns out the plugin Popmaker was causing the problem. The widget started working fine again, when I deactivated this plugin.
it is the “default template,” same as all the other pages.
I’m having a problem getting comment boxes to show up in blog entries.

All my comment configurations are set correctly.
They show up fine in pages, if I allow comments in the page editor.
I have checked single.php for <?php comments_template(); ?>
and it is there.
Please advise.
I have tried all these things, too. Am still having the same problem.
