Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: “Could not copy file:” WP 2.7.1 Automatic UpgradeI went through this same issue on one blog and what I ended up having to do was chmod each file that was mentioned to 777. So RolloTamasi, in your case you need to set your file permissions for admin-header.php to 777. After doing that you will get another copy error regarding another file and you will need to do the same thing – set the file permissions to 777. It was a very tedious process and there were about 25 files involved. Setting permissions to the directories have no effect.
Right now I am having problems with another blog upgrading 2.7.1 with automatic upgrade. The process gets stuck at unpacking the core files.

In reply to: New Plugin: postTabsHelp please…I installed this plugin and I really love it. I am using it on two blogs with the Journalist theme and several plugins. Both blogs have recently been upgraded to 2.7. After updating posttabs to 2.9 it worked on one blog but on the other it broke the tabs so clicking on them did not produce the switch to the other tabs. I reinstalled the prior version and the tabs are now working again. The other blog running version 2.9 is working fine. Both blogs run almost the same plugins. Any ideas?

In reply to: White screen of death after upgrading to 2.6.3Problem solved. WP was looking for the theme I used before the upgrade. I can now view my site. For some reason it would not let the Kubrick theme take over.

In reply to: How to repair table? If you are using cpanel log into cpanel and scroll down until you see MySqlDatabases.
Click on that and you should see two drop down menus, one that says check database and one below that says repair database. Choose the database name you want to repair and click repair database. It will tell you when it is finished. You should see a list of the items it repaired with an OK next to each item.
I hope this helps.

Help?

In reply to: White screen of death after upgrading to 2.6.3I wanted to add another comment here. I can still view the admin area; the only place I receive the white screen is when trying to view the site.
