Perhaps the test files are what’s getting in the way? I found the test files were tricking me up when I was trying on different themes – setting it back to default. Maybe I need to scrap and start over?
Yes, I am logged in as admin. It was an activitated plugin that seemed to block the photo function. Here is that post:http://wordpress.org/support/topic/79128?replies=4.

In reply to: The uploaded file could not be moved to .Thanks! Yes, they are all 777. It’s odd, because when I started out, I had the function. (see: http://ownthepress.com/?page_id=2) I have been playing around with themes and I installed a widget that blocked the funtion, but I successfully deactivated. Might it be a theme thing?

In reply to: The uploaded file could not be moved to .here is more info : the report message is, “The uploaded file could not be moved to .” I checked the File Attributes on folders and they are “777.”

In reply to: lost “Upload a Photo” functionManstraw – that was it. Thank you! The plug in is WordPress Email Notification Plugin v2.3.1. How odd. And, to be totally frank, I couldn’t figure out how to work the plug in once I activated it, anyway. I think I need a plug-in course.
