Hi. Please excuse my ignoranace, as I am new to WP. When I go to write a post, I no longer see the “upload a photo” function on the page. It’s just gone.
I have been trying out different themes, so perhaps I messed with something I should not have. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Sarah

  • have you been trying different admin themes?

Other plugins are capable to disabling the built in upload function. One example is PhotoPress, which will disable the upload if that option is enabled. If you’ve installed new plugins, I would first try disabling it(them) to see if it’s the problem.

Manstraw – that was it. Thank you! The plug in is WordPress Email Notification Plugin v2.3.1. How odd. And, to be totally frank, I couldn’t figure out how to work the plug in once I activated it, anyway. I think I need a plug-in course.

hey great, glad you got it sorted.

You might want to let the author know about your problem. Perhaps he’ll fix it, and maybe you’ll even get to use it!
