Thank you for the detailed explanation and for sharing your developer’s findings.We understand the need for additional hooks and filters to customize prepared invoice data, template registration, and content around the invoice body without modifying the plugin’s core files.
Our developer is already working on improving these customization options, including better hooks/filters for developers. We are hoping to add these capabilities in one of our upcoming WOWInvoice updates.

We generally do not recommend editing the plugin files directly, since those changes can be overwritten during an update.

Thanks for reaching out.Our developer has been investigating this issue and found that the invoice file size becomes much larger when product images are included in the invoice.
The good news is that our developer fixed the invoice size optimization issue and the solution will be added in our upcoming update.

From your feedback, it seems there may have been some misunderstanding about how PostX integrates with WPBakery.
PostX is primarily a Gutenberg-based plugin, and its Site Builder templates can be used alongside WPBakery. However, PostX blocks themselves are designed for the Gutenberg editor and are not intended to be edited directly within WPBakery or the Classic Editor. That’s why we’ve given the short-code support for it. You can learn more from our docs – link
Regarding the free version, you’re correct that it has limitations, including the number of templates available. The purpose of the free version is to let users explore the core functionality before deciding whether they need the additional features available. However, the limitation was the main concern for your experience. I can talk with our team and do something about it.
