The notice is only displayed after 2 weeks of use of the theme and clicking the “Dismiss this notice” link would stop the notice from displaying.

While we endeavour to respond to support enquiries as fast as possible we do sometimes experience a high volume and this can cause a delay.
I’m not entirely sure what you mean by the blog effect being different from the website but the issue you are experiencing with text going beyond the bounds of the post border is due to the fact that you’ve put a 56 character word into your blog post. This is an unrealistic scenario and would more than likely not occur in a real life situation, however we have released an update that will prevent this unlikely scenario from happening.
The gap in the surrounding border of the posts is not a bug in the theme it is a knock-on effect due to the custom CSS that you have used to hide the “posted on” date.

The default font size is 15px. It could possibly be that you zoomed out in your browser which has shrunk the text making it appear smaller. Click Ctrl and 0 to reset the zoom in your browser just to be sure.

The default image you will be seeing has the overlay text on the image itself, however you can easily add your own overlay text to a header image by entering text in the Text field, using <h2></h2> tags around heading text and <p></p> tags around body text.

What you’re seeing under the Website Text option of the customizer isn’t actually a 404 error notice, it’s just a setting to specify the message that a user will see if they get a 404 error notice on your website.
You can increase the paragraph font size with some custom CSS. You’ll need to install SiteOrigin’s free Custom CSS plugin which will allow you to add custom CSS to the theme.

Once you’ve done that go to Appearance > Customs CSS.
This will show you a screen with a text editor containing any custom CSS you have implemented, so it will be blank to begin with.
The CSS you should put in there is:
p { font-size: 15px; }That CSS contains the default font size but you can just increase it to your liking.
