In reply to: Website load time / GoDaddyHi, I will give it a go. The theme creators also argue that going https (ssl) could be causing speed issues – do you think that is valid? The other curiosity the theme creators raise is that if it were the theme and plugins slowing it down, it would still not cause a ‘failed to connect with server’ error or timed out. I am trying to find some evidence to rule out the theme and plugin so I can go back to GoDaddy and say, look it is not the theme and plugin because….Its hard being piggy in the middle. In reply to: Website load time / GoDaddyHi, Thanks for getting back to me. To be honest, I have not tried. If I turn off the plugins and change to twenty fourteen, is it gurranteed to be reversible,I put so much time in, I don’t want to loose anything I created.
