In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Return of the dreaded “Sync failed. Please try again.”Thank you so much. Disconnecting and reconnecting to Square did the trick! I did actually try this earlier but forgot to click “Save changes” on the settings page. Thanks again!

In reply to: [Klaviyo] “Add to Cart” adds two units of product instead of just oneSure, I believe the plugin that is causing this behaviour is Klaviyo Toolkit by https://www.madebytribe.com/. Not 100% sure, but disabling this plugin does that trick. Thanks for looking into this!

In reply to: [Klaviyo] “Add to Cart” adds two units of product instead of just oneApparently the issue is with a Klaviyo add-on, not Klaviyo itself. Thanks.

In reply to: [AWS for WordPress] Enable Polly unchecked for a post, but appears in feed?FYI what I found out is that if you enabled Polly for a post, and then later decide you don’t want to include that particular post in your Pollycast feed, you can’t simply ‘uncheck’ the “Enable Amazon Polly” toggle in the post editor. It will still appear in the feed.
A workaround is to copy the contents of your post to a text editor (e.g., make a backup of your content), delete the post, and then re-create the post. Ensure that “Enable Amazon Polly” is NOT checked, and then publish your post (adjusting the published on date if necessary).
🙂

In reply to: [AWS for WordPress] Enable Polly unchecked for a post, but appears in feed?Yes, that’s exactly what happened. 🙂 Is there a way to ‘refresh’ the feed, or regenerate it? Thx!

In reply to: [AWS for WordPress] Restricts by post category and/or tag? Thanks Tomasz, will check this out now. I assume the categories should be separated by commas?
Thanks again.

In reply to: [AWS for WordPress] Pollycast feed only showing 20 items / iTunesTomasz, that’s awesome. Thanks so much!!

In reply to: [AWS for WordPress] Pollycast feed only showing 20 items / iTunes@tstachlewski, for me personally, I don’t think it even needs to be configurable. I would simply include all Polly-enabled posts in the feed. I can’t think of a use case where someone would only want ‘some’ of their posts included in their feed.
Thanks!

In reply to: [AWS for WordPress] Pollycast feed only showing 20 items / iTunes@tstachlewski, yes my recommendation would be to remove the limit. I know for the projects we are currently testing with this, everyone has asked us “why only 20?”
Perhaps you could provide the user with include 10 latest, 20 latest, or show all.
BTW, if there is any kind of PHP hack you share where I could have the aforementioned pollycast feed show all entries, I’d appreciate it. This client is really chomping at the bit to have all of the podcasts appear in the iTunes channel 🙂
Thanks Tomasz!

In reply to: [AWS for WordPress] Polly Audio Player Not DisplayingHi @locallad. I can see your player just fine here:

Perhaps it only appears when you drill down to individual post pages (?).

In reply to: [AWS for WordPress] Featured Image won’t save when Polly is activeJust wanted to chime in and say that I am also having the problem (featured image is removed when Polly is enabled). We tried rolling this out on Friday for a client who has hundreds of blog posts, and after doing the bulk update all of the image were removed. Yikes! (Thank goodness for backups).
@tstachlewski, I’ll be eagerly looking forward to the next update 🙂 Also, I’m curious as what would cause this issue.

In reply to: [AWS for WordPress] Saving plugin settings killing AWS credentials?Resolved. 🙂

In reply to: [AWS for WordPress] Saving plugin settings killing AWS credentials?I believe I have found the culprit. The Dashlane Chrome extension (Dashlane is a password manager) is looking at the AWS secret key textbox and considering it a password field. Dashlane was overwriting the AWS key with something else (probably the website WordPress admin password) every time I hit the settings page.
Once I disabled the extension, I was able to get things working.
Dashlane users – I would advise that you do *not* save if prompted by Dashlane once you enter your AWS keys.
Thanks!

In reply to: [AWS for WordPress] Saving plugin settings killing AWS credentials?@tstachlewski yes that is correct. I can change the value(s) and all of the drop-down boxes work, but when I save, all of the fields return to “Please verify your AWS Credentials are accurate.”
It sure sounds like a caching issue to me. Continuing to troubleshoot on my end.
Thx!
