Hi @orangeaxis,
Like always thx for info. Yes, we currently have designed it like this, but this is something which could be easily be modified by us – do you think it should be more flexible?
Cheers,
Tomasz
@tstachlewski, yes my recommendation would be to remove the limit. I know for the projects we are currently testing with this, everyone has asked us “why only 20?”
Perhaps you could provide the user with include 10 latest, 20 latest, or show all.
BTW, if there is any kind of PHP hack you share where I could have the aforementioned pollycast feed show all entries, I’d appreciate it. This client is really chomping at the bit to have all of the podcasts appear in the iTunes channel 🙂
Thanks Tomasz!
Joe
@orangeaxis – if this would be configureable by new WP filter instead of new GUI element – would it be OK for you? Or you believe there should be another GUI compontent?
@tstachlewski, for me personally, I don’t think it even needs to be configurable. I would simply include all Polly-enabled posts in the feed. I can’t think of a use case where someone would only want ‘some’ of their posts included in their feed.
Thanks!
Joe
Hi @orangeaxis,
I’ve added in latest release the possibility to change the number of items in feed (min 1, max 1000)
Cheers,
Tomasz
Tomasz, that’s awesome. Thanks so much!!
And I think when you released this fix, you made a mistake, and reset all exiting user to 1. Now all site are broke with just one episode in podcast.
