In reply to: [Speed Booster Pack β‘ PageSpeed Optimization Suite] Error code in footerThere is a warning when you paste scripts into the Custom Code Manager:
Paste the inline JavaScript here. DON’T include the
<script>tags or else you might break it!Google Analytics works with two
<script>tags, which can’t be added via Custom Code Manager. Can you paste a screenshot (using imgur.com) of the setting screen, showing how you added the Google Analytics code?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Speed Booster Pack β‘ PageSpeed Optimization Suite] Error code in footerLooks like something related to Custom Code Manager. We will retire that feature next month but also release a separate plugin called Custom Code Manager to help SBP users transition. Until then, you can use another plugin called Insert Headers and Footers to move your custom code there.
Thank you for your kind words, @ebarboza! Somehow we didn’t get an email notification for your review but luckily I (BarΔ±Ε) have a Google alert for Speed Booster Pack, so I saw it. In response to your remarks:
1) Our page caching system actually works for mobile devices too but in some cases, server might work too slow even with page caching active. But we’re always trying to get the plugin perform better, so we’d love to have a look at your website. Can you use this link to contact us and send your website address?
2) Merging assets is an old practice, remnant of the HTTP/1.1 era. With HTTP/2 and beyond, browsers can download assets simultaneously which is actually faster than downloading huge, single chunks of assets. See (4) below though.
3) This is a bug that we’ve just discovered… and fixed! We’ve completed coding version 4.3.2 and if you get in touch with us and grant access to your admin panel (or install the BETA version yourself), we’d love to test if our fix works on your website too!
4) We love Autoptimize, and Autoptimize loves us too! @futtta (dev of AO) and I worked together for over 5 years to offer Optimocha’s services to Autoptimize’s user base; and when Optimocha acquired Speed Booster Pack in 2019, our team wrote SBP from scratch while improving compatibility with other performance plugins. Perfmatters, Fastest Cache etc. are our direct competitors and it’s always a wise choice to choose one of each pair of similar plugins… but Autoptimize and Speed Booster Pack complement each other so you can safely use them together π
Again, thank you for your kind words, and your suggestions too! I can personally promise you that we do thrive to be the best performance plugin in the WordPress ecosystem, and users like you give us power and motivation to achieve this goal!

In reply to: [Speed Booster Pack β‘ PageSpeed Optimization Suite] PHP Warning@mookie4a4 awesome (that we’re making progress). In that file that’s throwing the warnings, can you replace line 11:
private $families;With the following:
private $families = [];And enable the font optimize feature again, see what happens?

In reply to: [Speed Booster Pack β‘ PageSpeed Optimization Suite] PHP Warning@mookie4a4 I’d be surprised. What happens when you disable the font optimize feature (while the plugin is active), do the warnings stop?

In reply to: [Speed Booster Pack β‘ PageSpeed Optimization Suite] PHP Warning@mookie4a4 hmm, looks like it’s successfully optimizing the fonts… Are you getting this warning logged constantly or did you get it just once?

In reply to: [Speed Booster Pack β‘ PageSpeed Optimization Suite] PHP WarningHey @mookie4a4, can you share the website address?
@andrei0luca you’re welcome, I wish we could be more helpful about it! π If you think our plugin is cool, it would mean a lot to us if you had a minute to give us a fair review: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/speed-booster-pack/reviews/#new-post
Hey @andrei0luca,
Unfortunately our preload rules doesn’t support preloading responsive images. We do plan to find a solution but we can’t give you any timeline about it. It might be a good idea to use a plugin like Insert Headers and Footers to inject such specific preload rules directly inside your
