are you sure that Public Post Preview is the issue? Can’t reproduce this on a clean install. The notices also don’t make sense for the plugin.

3.8.3 will include a recovery process, so your data is not lost. In the meantime you should avoid Quick Draft.

TinyMCE received a major update, to version 4.0. Any editor plugins written for TinyMCE 3.x might require some updates. (If things broke, we’d like to hear about them so we can make adjustments.)
