In reply to: Blank dialog after “Insert into Post” clicked, no imagesnope. I turned off Ad Block Plus, no joy. Re-uploading admin and includes. Nope.
The blog is brand new so I’ll just nuke it all and start over. That will take less time than debugging it. But man, hope it doesn’t happen again!

In reply to: Moved servers, not domain. Mostly worksThat’s it! I see it, cool. (Note, I can’t change it on the new server since I don’t know the new pathname, but I’ll ask and try it out.)
Thanks a million!

In reply to: Can’t login after upgradeYes, that last link did the trick!
I did not want to clear my cookies however!
So after following the directions on upgrading exactly, I then made one further change. When I went to do the upgrade.php part I created a new user on my Macintosh, logged in as that user, then went to Safari and did the upgrade.
That way I could have a cookie-free environment.
And yes, it all worked well. Thanks all!

In reply to: Two FIXES for 2.6 login problemsWell, I’ll give my 2 cents here. I read all of the above and it seemed like there were many ways to do things. I have 4 blogs, hosted on bluehost, and I spent literally hours on the first one, trying to upgrade, but not being able to login.
I so did not want to clear my cookies.

In reply to: Can’t login after upgradeThat’s where I’m failing. I trying to run the upgrade script. I really didn’t want to clear out my cache and cookies, so I used a different browser on two different machines, couldn’t login on any of them. I get the login screen, I put the info in, and then I get the login screen again.
I’m reinfected again, sigh. I’ll try again…

In reply to: I lost the bits under the title! That was it! I experimented with one, set a page to be “home” via its slug. Saw that it worked and I didn’t like it and changed the slug back. I just deactivated it and woo hoo, it works fine again.
Thanks moshu, you rock!!!!
