    Hello.

I recently moved my wordpress blog from a bluehost.com server to another server. I read all I could and did the right things, or at least I thought I did! I made a backup of the db and the wordpress folder and got it all up and running.

However, we cannot upload images to the new blog.

    When we do we get:

Unable to create directory /home/MYBLOGSOLDFOLDER/wp-content/uploads/2009/04. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

where MYBLOGSOLDFOLDER is the middle of the unix pathname from the old server. I’ve looked all over my config files and that pathname does not appear anywhere.

I’ve read many upgrade guides, but they all see to talk about changing the blog’s URL, either the domain name or the sub-directory. I’ve done neither of these.

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

    Paul

That’s it! I see it, cool. (Note, I can’t change it on the new server since I don’t know the new pathname, but I’ll ask and try it out.)

    Thanks a million!
