In reply to: wppa plus facebook connectionHi MacManX,
Thanks for your suggestion. Needless to say I had already done that prior to posting but thank you anyway.
I did resolve the problem. As I do not go anywhere near facebook with my computer, too damn dangerous, it turns out that on my client’s computer all was fine as she is a facebook habitué.Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: Employee hourly/weekly scheduleNo, unfortunately not.
This site has possibilities but I have not the time to spend on the project. I did send an email to the site listing my problem but as yet no reply…not that they have anything else to do!I have become really busy of late but hope to get back to the above problem sometime soon, if I hear something I will let you know. If you hve any luck I would appreciate a heads up.
Thanks and good luck.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [ALO EasyMail Newsletter] ALO Easymail not yet ready for prime time?OK
I have deactivated all plugins and activated them one by one while trying to email. None of the plugins I am using seem to be a problem however the version on WP did seem to pose a problem.Easy Mail worked just fine with all the plugins I am using with WP version 3.0.5 however with 3.1.2 it does not work with these plugins.
Page Security
My Calendar
MiniMeta
Gtranslate
DaikosAs to which one is the problem.
I will have to try each one individually with the new version…when I have hours and hours to spend…in the meantime I need to have a working system so will use another Newsletter Emailer.

In reply to: Help me pleas GoDaddy will suspend my domainWindows Live Writer
Oh boy.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Help me pleas GoDaddy will suspend my domainI had a client with a similar problem but not on a GoDaddy account. I found, to my dismay, that the client was not checking their logs on a regular basis.
I have 14 client accounts with GoDaddy and have always found them to be responsive, polite and helpful. I have also explained to my clients that they should not get their feathers ruffled with the hosting service because nine times out of ten the problem would not be a problem if they had just checked their logs.
That said check your root to see if there are any files that you or GoDaddy did not put there.
Thank you so much for your reply Ofer, similar to a reply I received from you at your site.
Again, however, it make no sense to me.
Language list widget?
I do hope someone can answer my question.

In reply to: Drop Down Menu in Twenty-Ten DisappearsHmmmm. I tried (Mac 10.6.5 Safari 5.02) zoom in and out and all worked just fine and with Firefox 3.6.12 all was fine. At twogatherbeads.com all worked fine as well.
Did you restart and clear your cache before trying?

In reply to: Drop Down Menu in Twenty-Ten DisappearsBoth marthalee and govpatel thank you so much. Indeed it was the change to 38px that did the trick, my drop down is back from the dark beyond.
This incredibly rapid response is one reason why development and design advance so quickly, and pleasantly. Thank you both again and if you are in America have a wonderful thanksgiving and if you are elsewhere please have a pint on me.

In reply to: Drop Down Menu in Twenty-Ten DisappearsI have the same problem with the drop down vanishing into the mists of time. My test site is at http://fhc-p.org/wordpress.
I am Mac 10.6.5, both Safari and Firefox (latest of both) I have also tried it on a Windos machine and the drop down keeps disappearing.
I went to the twogatherbeads.com site and all there seemed to work just fine.
I have tried changing relative to absolute (one suggested cure) but to no avail, I have zoomed and shrunk and zoomed again but no luck. I am relatively savvy with Css php etc but am darned if I can figure this out.
Any help would be really appreciated as the site I am putting together is a not for profit and I am doing it for free.
Thank you in advance.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Can anyone identify this theme?I would suggest writing to them and asking.
Thank you so much for your prompt reply.
I have pasted code in functions php but have this error above header:Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘header_widgets_init’ not found or invalid function name in /Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/htdocs/wordpress/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 395
Line 395 is:
call_user_func_array($the_[‘function’], array_slice($args, 0, (int) $the_[‘accepted_args’]));
I am not capable enough with php to understand what now must be changed. Is “header_widgets_init” not an accepted arg and if so where can I change the args to make it work.
Sorry for being so dumb but thank you so much for your really rapid reply.
Hello I tried to follow your code to get the “above header” to work but no luck. Could you possibly post all the needed code and where each doc needs changing. Thank you so muc
OR. If anyone else has the answer please let me know with full code changes .
