me too. i had a strange issue with SendPress plugin, and after deactiivating/deleting another plugin (simple twitter feed) the issue with Sendpress resolved…but the problem you are talking about has cropped up and won’t go away.

The way I read that post (and another) was that this is the only solution to adjust the compact album thumbs, and the extended album thumbs are now adjustable with the attach to post feature (recent upgrade)

Which shortcodes were you able to enter manually? I tried to enter some shortcodes manually, and it did not work with either of the shortcode plugins I tested.Here are the two plugins I tested. I tried both using the MCE icons and manually.
