• My client noticed while testing the plugin that her double opt in email had some strange text in it. I tried it as well, and the opt in email I got had the same issue. When you open the email, it looks fine, but in the inbox you can read the style code, like a message preview. The code is at the top of the opt in message on the plugin settings.
It seems really odd and I can’t get rid of it, it comes back after I delete and save, but some of it has gone away, the part about the joomla template. I’m using mail (mac) how do I get rid of this??

Did you add your own HTML and CSS to the template? Do you have a screenshot of the opt in admin screen?

I did not add any code, just tried to delete what was there. I don’t know how to post a screen shot, but here is the full code/text that is in the body section of that admin page

I looked at the same page on another website I’m working on with that I installed SendPress, and it does not have this problem. Could the plugin have been hacked?

I don’t think that the plug-in was hacked. Most likely you are experiencing conflict with either your theme or another plug-in. The conflicting theme or plug-in may be inserting some code where it shouldn’t. You could try deleting that from the confirmation message text , but more than likely you’ll need to find which plug-in is conflicting.

Try this link for troubleshooting conflicts.
