In reply to: [Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] Incompatible with 2.7 and PodpressBilly, I suspect it’s a javascript conflict then as I’m 99% sure Podpress uses javascript for its popup player too.
My solution was to stop using this google analytics plugin and use the other one called Google Analyticator. This works fine with podpress.

I can’t imagine I’m the only one suffering from this – using podpress, google analytics and wordpress 2.7.
Thanks

In reply to: [Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] Incompatible with 2.7 and PodpressThe sites are in development at the moment so aren’t open to the public. I could set you up a login though if you give me your email address Joost?
But generically speaking, looking at the way podpress creates URL’s for the popup player they use this format:
Obviously the above URL depends on how you setup your permalinks, but basically podpress appends a # – which doesn’t appear to give much away!

In reply to: [Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] Incompatible with 2.7 and PodpressI’m not 100% sure, but I’d say Javascript is probably the most likely way podpress achieves the popup for the player.
Any podpress experts confirm this?
If it is Javascript – why wouldn’t this work with Google Analytics?
What’s confusing is it all worked fine in 2.6.
