In reply to: Wp-Polls 1.5 updatedGamerz,
Your plugin is great. However, for some reason this version does not store a cookie in the user’s computer. I have tried closing my browser and even tried doing it with different browsers and every time, no cookie is stored and I am allowed to vote over and over again.
Can anyone please provide a fix for this? Thank you.

In reply to: searching posts and commentsThis doesn’t seem to work with Kubrick. I have v 1.2.1 of WP. What version was this written for?

In reply to: WP Backup/Restore new versionmacmanx: The other two tables are being used for an accompanying plugin. They’re not totally unrelated to WP, they just don’t have the wp_ template tag at the start.
I can’t figure out why it just stopped working. 🙁

In reply to: WP Backup/Restore new versionYes, I can manually back them up in phpMyAdmin. Any suggestions?
I tried backing up just the WP tables separately and then all my tables (wp ones and non-wp ones…meaning the full database). Both worked fine through phpMyAdmin.
Don’t know whats up.

In reply to: WP Backup/Restore new versionMy host hasn’t changed PHP or MySQL but you know I did add two more tables that are not wp_ related to my same database. They don’t have the wp_ heading, and they are for another function. Could that have anything to do with it?

In reply to: WP Backup/Restore new versionUp until 2 days ago my Backup/Restore was working perfectly, the SQL database and the WP files were being backed up and stored fine in the directory. Now after New Year’s, (i’ve made no changes) the WP files still backup fine but the SQL database doesn’t. It tells me that the database backed up fine, and all is well and gives me a link to the SQL file, but the SQL file is never created. The tar file still is created and works.
Any ideas? Could it have anything to do with the date?

In reply to: Next/Previous NavigationI’m sorry, I’m really lost. I’m using WP 1.2.1 and Kubrick 1.2.6 and when I click on an individual entry’s permalink, on that individual post’s page it shows the previous and next posts up on the top. But what I want to have is that on my main page it shows the 5 latest entries and then at the bottom have a link saying Next Page, which then goes to the next 5 entries, and so on. I also want this to happen on when I view my posts by category or by month.
I’ve looked at the other next/previous posts, but they aren’t very helpful to me. Could anyone help me out please? Thank you very much!
