Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Simple Real Estate Pack] Google Map and Yelp having issues…It looks like the Yelp maps quit working after WP 3.9. I am building a new RE site on WP 3.9.1. I have a couple of other RE sites that I built that I haven’t updated yet. I’m glad I waited. I hope the developer decides to have a look. This is a great plugin when it works.
You’re welcome. Glad I could help.
I had this same problem a while back. For me it was only on Internet Explorer 8. I HATE Internet Explorer! It works fine on IE9. Unfortunately if you are running Win XP you can’t upgrade.
Here is how I solved the problem. Forgive me but it has been awhile and I don’t have all the details fresh in my mind. I had to add some code to the Stylesheet (style.css) file.
.ngg-gallery-thumbnail { width:208px; padding-right:10px; }This basically forces the browser to allocate space for the thumbnails. The code says 208px but I am able to make 800px thumbs for my panoramas at this setting.I have the Mantra theme so all I had to do is add the code to the Custom CSS box on the Mantra settings page.
You can see the results on the link below. Before I added the code these images were all on one row with each image scrunched to about 10px wide.

(I am reworking my site so this link may only work for a few more days)I hope this helps you. I’m not well versed in PHP or CSS but I dug around and found this workaround.
Good Luck

OK, it only fixed part of the problem. On my other site I have standard size photos and panorama photos. The solution from the other post forces the browser to size the area for the thumbnail to a specific size. The problem is this is a global setting so now my panorama images are getting squished into this newly sized box.
I had to take al of my panoramas out of NextGEN and build a HTML page for them without the lightbox.
Is this problem really only happening to a few of us? It works in IE8 for most of you? I have this problem on two different themes on two different sites.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,

I am having the same problem. The problem isn’t Mac versus PC the problem is only on Internet Explorer. I viewed Simon’s site In Firefox and Chrome and everything renders correctly. when I view it in IE8 however, it squishes all the thumbnails to 10 pixels wide while retaining their correct height.
This is exactly what my issue is. The gallery looks good in Firefox, Chrome and Safari but Won’t render correctly in IE8. I don’t know how it looks on IE9 because I’m running Windows XP Pro. Any help would be appreciated.
here is a link to the page that is giving me problems:
