Hi Andrew,
and anybody else experiencing this problem. I found a solution that helped at least me: disable the option “Stop removing the <p> and >br />; tags when saving and show them in the HTML editor” in the plugin options of TinyMCE Advanced.

exactly the same problem here. Did you find a solution yet. Tried deactivating all plugins with no help. Running latest WordPress.
