P.S. Google Webmaster tools say I may have badware links in:
# http://www.myqute.com/2009/10/another-uh-oh-i-trusted-what-the-doctor-told-me-story/But how do I even remove the blog entries or badware links without access to wordpress admin or control panel? Google’s blocking access.

In reply to: Can’t edit from wp-admin/post.php?action=editokie I didn’t chmod .htaccess Result: I couldn’t even post new entries, nor edit posts.
I tried
<IfModule mod_security.c>
SecRuleEngine Off
</IfModule>and I had an internal sever error
“An unknown error took place while generating the page you requested.”So now I had to delete the .htaccess file.
Any other ideas? THANKS!

In reply to: Can’t edit blogIt means you have to clear/erase your database via PhpAdmin (consult your webhosting provider how to do this).

In reply to: Can’t edit from wp-admin/post.php?action=editI do not have .htaccess in my wp-admin folder but when I did one and uploaded it, it had no effect when I once again tried to edit an entry. (I specifically saved the file as .htaccess )
Does the .htaccess need to be chmoded or am i missing something?

In reply to: Can’t edit from wp-admin/post.php?action=editHi HandySolo…Nope, it goes to a page “The page cannot be displayed”….Like how you’d get if you typed in a non-existing domain. sigh….
Re-install doesn’t work (I’ve tried almost all of the other versions – older and newer)!

In reply to: No registration password email?WP doesn’t seem to send passwords to administrators. So the best thing to do is to change your password to one you can remember, immediately, before you start choosing themes or posting new blog entries.
If this isn’t possible, do a backup (you should have the wp-backup plugin), export your wp tables, then do a re-install of your wp. And this time, take note of your password.
Hope this is helpful although I don;t know if WP can re-script it in such a way that it sends a username and password email right after install.

In reply to: Guide to using iFramesI’ve tried using iFrames with wordpress before and it usually loads on itself after my blog loads. I suspect it may be something else that may be keeping your blog from appearing sooner but I may be wrong. What do the mods have to say?

In reply to: The Moderators Here Are FREAKIN’ RUDE (aka moshu)I think neither were rude but the mods could show MORE empathy for something they are not/may not able to solve, and give the asker a chance to read and respond again before the mods close the topic as “solved” or “beyond discussion”.
It’s a lil like waiting for your customer to hang up instead of you hanging up the phone first – regardless of whether the customer was huffing and puffing or not….regardless of whether the mods were ‘tolerating’ or not. Afterall, the “customer” (asker) will have to calm down at one point.
Thanks for allowing this feedback.

In reply to: Embedding WordPress into a custom site template??Burr, I think I know what you’re saying….
You can try going to wp-content/themes. Choose the folder where your desired theme is. Edit individual pages – header.php search.php, footer.php and sidebar.php All these php pages CAN contain the normal html codes that you use in dreamweaver.
In your admin panel, go to presentation, widgets and re-arrange the widgets as you would like them to appear for your side panels (left, middle and right panels).
Or else you can get a wordpress designer to create your desired theme so he/she can configure the templates for your wp-content/theme folder…and may be from there you can do minor changes to the .php pages by yourself.
