I’m leaning toward a conflict with another plugin, or some odd server configuration. Nowhere in my code do I look for an IP address. I’ll take a look. My email is mike[at]mvied[dot]com.
I believe this is an issue being caused by your server configuration. Not that it is “wrong” per se, but the code doesn’t know how to work with it properly. Just a theory, but I don’t know what else would cause this. Is there any way you could give me FTP/SSH access so that I could take a look? You can email me at mike[at]mvied[dot]com.
It sounds like you installed the plugin and then changed the settings, probably enabling Force SSL Admin. If you don’t have an SSL certificate set up, you will lock yourself out of your admin panel. You can get back by following the directions under “I can’t get into my admin panel. How do I fix it?” in the FAQ.

Are you using any plugins to generate your sitemap?

Try enable Force SSL Exclusively for muckersite.com. That should change links to HTTP that aren’t being secured by URL Filters or the Force SSL checkboxes.

Make sure you have an SSL certificate before enabling the Force SSL Admin setting.
Check out Github and let me know what you think. I’ve tested it on a subdomain and a folder install, so it should work. Let me know if you find any bugs.
Did you enter an IP address into the SSL Host setting? That’s the only way it would do something like that. Leave the host setting to its default unless you use a separate subdomain, Shared SSL or something where your HTTPS URL is not the same as your WordPress URL.
