It was my browser taking it’s time for those changes to take place.
I’ve done everything you’ve said, and once again, I can’t thank you enough- both for your help and patience. I’m going to see what I can find with Jetpack because what I did didn’t seem to do anything

It didn’t seem to make any difference when I ticked all the boxes.
I still can’t thank you enough- the pics can be seen again, I can worry about the error message later if I need to.

I get this on the Zoos gallery

But the pictures still show. No pics show for the PLants & Fungi gallery, but I presume that’s a simple case of playing with Flickr. the other 4 work fine. Thank you so much.
I’ve been using both together forever- the combination has always been perfect for what I want. I now don’t know what to do- I don’t want to stop using either!

So I reinstalled it, id this what you need:

but I’m still getting the same message when I go to the website
haven’t been able to yet- I copied the message over to my friend, but he hasn’t had a chance today. I’ll reinstall shortly.
I don’t know if this helps, but in the Photonic section, in Settings > > Generic Options > > Generic Settings > > Custom Shortcode is blank, so the default gallery is being used.
I did that, but it hasn’t made any difference at all I’m afraid
None of it shows, no tabs or anything. It’s literally a blank page with the error message, that’s all
Honestly, I don’t know. When I try to edit the page, instead the error message shows. To make the pages I’ve done nothing more than adding things using WP’s editor, pre-Blocks.
It seems I have linked the wrong page. If you click on any of the galleries on that page (pics and text should link) then once more on any option, you’ll see it. No idea why the rest of the link is missing, but here’s one of them…

Gallery is still there- I haven’t changed anything at all, I know it was working over christmas. The guy I normally go to looked at it and hasn’t a clue (the first time in ten years!) and suggested I try here.
Neither, I’ve had it on there a long time, although it updated two days ago. At the moment the only thing disabled is the auto-update which was done after discovering this

In reply to: Request advice!Sorry, as this is a WordPress forum, I thought saying I have a blog on here would indicate a WordPress blog. Nobody is forcing you to Google anything.
I don’t blog with Mutual Earth because they it isn’t quite the same as my blog, but there will be people using Mutual Earth interested in MykySpeaks. Mutual Earth is for photography, and MykySpeaks is for wildlife and conservation. MykySpeaks has more followers than Mutual Earth, and is better established. I’d like to just have a bit on Mutual Earth that shows a bit of the current topic or something like that. The crossover between the two isn’t enough to just blog on Mutual Earth, and I don’t want to take the focus of that away from the photography.
