Hi @eyegraphic
I can see that you have issues with the Tatsu editor you were using as some buttons are missing. Are you able to add the page to the exception in the site cache settings? You can do that by following our documentation:
Let me know how this goes.
Hi @srmahmud2,
Thanks for sharing an update! Mod Security is a server-side web application firewall and the 403 errors you noticed were related to it, since it prevents some resources from being accessed (for security purposes obviously).
I can confirm that everything is good now, and that Jetpack Boost is working correctly 🙂
Let us know if anything else is missing.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Remove images from i0.wp.Hi @mattcbrown
Thanks for attaching those! I have confirmed that those were fully cleared and removed from our CDN (including the one with the screenshot URL, be sure to clear your browser’s cache to see that reflected).
Do let us know if there’s anything else missing.
Hi @nlarenas
Thank you for clarifying that. I can see that your website’s layout is broken when using the email option, so the “comment” button is not appearing. I’d suggest trying to switch to another theme, such as Twenty Twenty-Four and checking the form again. If it appears normally and shows the “Comment” button, then your current theme is the culprit, and you’ll have to contact the theme developer.
You can also disable all other plugins in case a caching plugin is interfering and hiding the “Comment” button.
Let us know what you get with those adjustments.
Hi @darrenseuk
Thanks for attaching that! I can see that there’s a query being killed (stopped) as it contained a lot of data to sync the items you are adding to the site, with Jetpack.
I have found that you have disconnected two hours ago, did you do that to resolve the error? I’d suggest reinstalling and reaching out to your hosting provider, to have them resolve the issue with your XML-RPC endpoint (which is needs to be accessible and working, just as the example here).
Let us know how this goes.
Hi @a1exus,
I see you mentioned that multiple scans were completed after adding additional plugins, but that you were seeing that not all of them were scanned, as one of those (or multiple) were left unscanned.
I’ve looked on our end and found that your website wasn’t fully in sync with Jetpack. I’ve started the process to resolve that, and you can give it a couple of hours before it completes.
Do let us know if you still experience the same issue after that.
Hi @nlarenas,
I can see you mentioned that your users are having issues connecting their Facebook/WP account for the commenting feature; however, I tested on our website and my Facebook account was authenticated successfully.
Can you ask them to try within an incognito window/tab of their browser? They may also try to clear the cache of their browser.
Let us know how this goes.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Woo App Connection IssueHi @mkdsgns,
I can see you mentioned having issues connecting to your website using the Woo app, and that you are getting a wrong username/password combination error. Are you using the WP-Admin credentials that you have set when first installing WordPress, or rather the WordPress.com credentials that you used to connect the Jetpack plugin?
To connect on the app, make sure you are using the WP-Admin credentials. If you have lost that or forgotten it, you can reset it:
Reset your password
Best,
Hi @mchalouh,
I have been able to access your website, and found that there wasn’t any critical error. Are you still seeing that? Is it on the back-end? You can find more information about the depreciation of the custom CSS feature in our documentation:
https://jetpack.com/support/custom-css/
Let me know if the issue is still persisting.
Hi @greentp
Can you share your website’s URL along with the name of the specific PHP app you are using? This will allow us to look closely into the issue. If you wish that to be private, you can use the contact form instead.
Looking forward to your reply.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] I can’t Reconnect JetpackI can see you mentioned not being able to connect Jetpack after upgrading to 8.1; however, I noticed that your website is connected correctly. Is there any place you are seeing an error or a broken connection status? You can upload a screenshot on imgur.com or snipboard.io.
Looking forward to your reply.

In reply to: [Jetpack Social] Fatal error always occurs on certain pagesHi @davidanderson,
Thanks for surfacing that! Please update to the latest version of the Jetpack Social and report back whether you still see the issue, as a fix was provided for it.
Best,
Hi @nanny7,
I can see that the plugin wasn’t disconnected/uninstall as my colleague suggested, so I’d suggest reinstalling it, while your other plugins are temporarily disabled. Here’s our documentation for the reinstallation steps again:
https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/#reinstalling-jetpack
You can then re-enable your other plugins.
Let us know how that goes.
Hi @wiki2018,
I can see that you are referring to the Jetpack Recent Posts widget, and wanted to know whether it accepts a category filter/parameter. That’s not possible, as the widget shows specifically the top recent posts regardless of the category. You can find more information below:
https://jetpack.com/support/extra-sidebar-widgets/display-wordpress-posts-widget/
Let us know if you have any other questions.
Hi @a1exus,
Thanks for sharing that. It looks that indeed the first step was deprecated, are you able to use the alternative rules instead? You can whitelist our IP ranges that can be found here.
Meanwhile, I noticed that your website loads through HTTP and HTTPS, which isn’t ideal considering you should force HTTPS into it.
To solve this issue, I would recommend that you change your site’s URL to HTTPS (you can do so under Settings > General in your dashboard), and then ask your host for help redirecting all traffic from HTTP to HTTPS.
Let us know how this goes along with adding rules to CF.
