    Hi again, and apologies for my late response. All subsites have at least one administrator. If there is an error log of a missing admin, this is not something we ever intended.

    However, I just installed your new version and the critical error disappeared, which leads me to believe there is something corrupt in our user role database…

    For this new Really Simple SSL version, how should I maintain the changes you made while keeping the plugin updated for future releases? And should I rename the file to Really Simple SSL?

    By the way, many thanks for your quick responses and creating a plugin version for this particular case!

    Yes, I do see the same notice after deactivating URE. I’ve also deactivated all plugins and switched to a default theme, but still the same notice. Would it be better to reach out the WordPress.org support? Greatly appreciate the advice.

    I have administrator rights but can’t find the “manage security” you mentioned. Where would I normally find it?

    Also, I’ve reactivate Simple SSL and this is the debug.log info (specifically regarding Simple SSL and ignoring the above log I added):

    I see. I use User Role Editor. Then I’ll need to resolve this through their forum?
