    Hi there, I recently encountered some issues with another plugin, and upon putting my site in debug mode, I found a bunch of errors from what I suspect is the User Role Editor plugin. Can you let me know what the following debug.log means and how I can go about fixing this issue?

    Hi,

    wp-includes/class-wp-roles.php is a part of WordPress core API for work with user roles and capabilities. WordPress itself and other plugins use it, not only User Role Editor (URE).

    Will you still see similar notices in debug.log in case you deactivate URE?

    Yes, I do see the same notice after deactivating URE. I’ve also deactivated all plugins and switched to a default theme, but still the same notice. Would it be better to reach out the WordPress.org support? Greatly appreciate the advice.

    It seems, that you have the corrupted WordPress user roles database record.

    Please read this article and look directly at the database, if user roles have the ‘name’ attribute. If they do not have ‘name’ attribute for some reason, you have to restore this database record value from the older backup, when they have it.
