In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] Invalid store category ID (20169)Hi @louisapple,
This warning:
Invalid store category ID (20169), since it is non-leaf. So item has been listed to the ‘Other’ store category
is a message from eBay and it is thrown when you list an item to a parent category, it must be listed to a leaf category, meaning a sub category.
So, for example if the category is Sports > Baseball > Cleats, you could not list the item to the “Sports” store category but you could list to the “Cleats” category. If the warning still persists even after assigning a listing to a leaf category you should contact eBay about this.
Kind regards,
Menchie
WP Lab SupportHi @ostralopithicus,
By default, WP-Lister remove links from product descriptions to avoid violating the eBay Links policy.
Specifically, you are not allowed to advertise products that you list on eBay by linking to their product pages on your site.
You can change the “Link handling” option on the Advanced Settings page of WP-Lister (WP-Lister > Settings> Advanced > Listing Templates > Link handling).

Menchie

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] Shipping optionsHi @jjnalu,
Error: A shipping service is not specified. (21915469)
At least one valid shipping service must be specified. This error means that you must provide at least one shipping service in your listing profile. If you don’t see any shipping methods to select have you tried refreshing your account details? You can do this by browsing to eBay > Settings > Accounts > Click “Refresh Details”.
If that does not work, I’d recommend you to please send us support ticket here https://www.wplab.com/request-support/ (as previously suggested) – so we can properly investigate the issue.
Kind regards,
Menchie

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] Shipping optionsHi @jjnalu,
There are 2 ways that you can setup your shipping options, return options, and payment options in WP-Lister. For each one you can either –
1.) Use a policy from your eBay account that was created directly on eBay (For example, a shipping policy is selected either in the edit product page or listing profile. In the listing profile it is labelled shipping policy (beta)) and you can select a policy from your eBay account.) If you don’t see any postage policies you will need to create one on eBay and then refresh your account details.
You can read more about policies here –
http://docs.wplab.com/article/103-enable-and-use-ebay-shipping-profiles2.) Manually insert the values for each option in WP-Lister
In a recent change, eBay no longer allows you to mix and match these 2 options. You either manually enter the data in for shipping, returns, and payments, or you use policies for all 3. You cannot use a policy for shipping, and manually enter in data for returns and payments. If you’re still having issue and you want us to investigate it, please send support ticket here – https://www.wplab.com/request-support/

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] Inventory functionHi @louisapple,
It depends whether your listing is lock or unlock.
“Locked listings” will have their inventory status – ie. price and quantity – updated instantly when you update a product in WooCommerce. All other details – like the listing title or description – will remain unchanged.
If you want WP-Lister to change your profile or update your listing template on eBay, you need to “unlock” an item.
This is explained in great details here – About locked vs unlocked listings
If you want the price to be different on eBay from the price on WooCommerce please go to Product > eBay Options > Price/Start Price this is where you can set the price you want the product to have when listing on eBay.
Or you can set the “Price / Start price” option in the listing “Profile” to change the price for many listings at once. You can use percentages as well, so if you want to reduce the price by 10% for all items using a particular profile, you would enter “-10%” as the price in that listing profile.

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] templatesHi @newsinpaphos,
I’m sorry but the default listing template is the only one available right now for WP-Lister for eBay.
As we do not provide support for design, I suggest you contact/hire someone to help you with that. Any good designer should be able to examine the default listing template in WP-Lister and design a new template for you quite easily.
Here are some instructions on how to customize the template: Listing Templates

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] Inventory functionHi @louisapple,
The “Synchronize Sales” feature of our plugin, when enabled it can reduce stock quantity in WooCommerce when an item is sold on eBay and vice versa.
Only the Pro version of WP-Lister for eBay has this feature.
Please visit this page to know How does the inventory sync work?

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] image galerie doesn’t displayHi @jjnalu,
Thanks for your nice words!
To use additional product images in the Gallery or Galley Plus feature, eBay requires all images to be uploaded to their server first.
In other words, eBay requires gallery images to be uploaded to EPS so EPS needs to be enabled in your “Listing profile”. But this feature is available only with the Pro version of the plugin – https://www.wplab.com/plugins/wp-lister/documentation/profiles/#Images

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] Template not working properlyHi louisapple,
We’re not sure why you’re insisting on making the template mobile-compatible when your original listing isn’t mobile-compatible to begin with…
Your template uses Javascript for the tabs and no matter what you do, i-ways.net will always return an error when Javascript is found in the listing.
Please note that we are aware of eBay’s upcoming changes in regards to active content and mobile friendly listing templates. But we will not be making any changes or offering any new “mobile friendly” listing templates until after eBay announces all of the requirements they will require in their 2016 fall seller update. Only then will we be providing a new listing template for these new requirements.
Kind regards,
Menchie

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] Template not working properlyHi louisapple,
We have an update that is in the works, to our default template that is mobile compatible.
But upon testing your original listing from your first post and the final listing – both came back as non-mobile compatible…
