In reply to: New to WP with a new designI like it. 🙂
My only comment is that it is my personal preference to make the post title more prominent than the date and time of the post.
Why the hyphen after the categories on the posts? I’d remove that, myself.
It’s a nice, clean theme, good job. 🙂

In reply to: My new themeIt is adorable. I’m viewing it in IE 7, looks just fine. I’m on high speed cable and I noticed it does take just a little bit longer to load than sites without so many images, but it doesn’t take so long that I wouldn’t visit.
Good job! 🙂

In reply to: Online Women’s MagazineThe layout is very nice, and I love the pink. My only issue is that I wish the sidebar with all the article titles was a little narrower. When I load up a site, I want to see the main content first.
Also, listing more than one post on the main page wouldn’t hurt, either. 🙂

In reply to: archive pages – show yours offI believe most peoples archive pages use the same layout as the rest of their sites, at least, this is true for all the ones I’ve seen.

Also, why two “Subscribe” links? One at the top of the left side bar and another set at the bottom of the right sidebar. Redundant.
Personally, I would separate the Comments link from being right next to the category name…place it at the bottom of the post or on its own line or something, because at the first two or three glances, it looks as though it’s one of the categories in which you’ve placed the post.
I also notice that when I clicked the “Blogging” category and brought up that page, the the entire right sidebar move over into the content space of the page. Even if you don’t have any posts in that category, your right sidebar should stay put, anyway.

In reply to: Personal Blog -Constructive Criticism..Overall I do like this theme, but there are some things that could use a bit of fixing. I’m using IE 7 to view your blog.
On the top post, the title is posted directly over the date, rather hard to read either one.
On the other posts, the title only shows up when I mouse over the link to leave a comment on the post before it. That’s odd. And when the title does show up, again, it’s right on top of the date.I think the background is too large. I know there’s a proper term for it, please forgive my brain fart…but I’ve got a horizontal scroll bar when viewing your site. I’m using a 1024×768 screen resolution. I don’t have to scroll over to see the content, and your right sidebar is clear as well, so when I scroll overit’s only to see the wooden frame with the leaves and such on it, and the woven blue bit. I do love the theme overall, there’s just no need for the horizontal scroll.
The third and fourth posts seem to be having an issue with the photo in the second post. The text in the second post wraps around the photo just fine, but the third and fourth posts are only in a column to the right instead of filling up their alloted space as the other posts do.

In reply to: GamesoulIt looks nice overall, just a few details need tending to.
One thing that I personally dislike is scrolling way down to get to the bottom of the page. Perhaps reduce the number of entries that are displayed per page, and add either a “Recent Posts” section to the sidebar or list the 5 or 10 previous posts at the bottom of the site after the last post on the page.
Also, your sidebars seem wider than necessary – you do need to add some padding because the content is squashed to the left. But I think you can add the padding and still make the sidebars a little narrower so that you can make the content section a little wider and add padding where needed as whooami suggested.
Another note…the Trailers and Games buttons at the very top of the page are both going to “video games.”

In reply to: Celebridiot.com Gossip BlogI would make the sidebars narrower so that there’s a little more space between the sidebars and the posts, and also to help put more emphasis on the posts. It’s cool to make a few dollars from your blog, but people go to sites for the content, so that’s where you want the emphasis to be, that’s where you want the eye to go first. When I visit sites and the first three things I see are ads, I don’t usually spend a lot of time going back there. Try blending the ads in a little better, you’ve got them across the top of the page and they’re at the top of each sidebar. It’s too much.
Another thing I personally would do is get a nicer header. The font is absolutely shouting at me, it’s so huge. Also, the colors of the header have nothing to do with the rest of the theme – the header is white, pink, and blue, but the blog is done in shades of gray. I’d make the header shorter and the title font smaller. The first post will show up higher on the page and will put the emphasis on your site content. If you want to keep the pink and blue in the header, introduce those colors elsewhere in the blog theme, too, like for borders or something, so that it looks more pulled together.

In reply to: Anyone butYou’d get more help if you didnt triple post the same thing over and over, for starters.
Go up to the search box at the top of the page, and type in “add a column” or “add a third column”. You might get something coming up saying “no results.” Make sure the boxes for Documentation and the Support Forums are both checked. You’ll get many results that might help you, if you’ve got the patience to try to learn a bit of coding.
Otheriwse, do as Moshu suggested and go to the theme viewer and get a layout that is already three columns, I’m sure there are several that are quite similar to your curent theme.

In reply to: Tracking ISP’s? Stats?I asked here because I didn’t know whether it was a plugin or whatever…hence the “completely unschooled” part. I knew someone here would be able to point me in the right direction, at least.
So thanks. 😀

In reply to: Hosting suggestionsGISOL works pretty good for me. I’ve had sites with them for 3 years, and only had one problem that took a few days to fix. Any other issues that I’ve had have been taken care of immeditaely.
And quite inexpensive.
