I’m having the same issues where the old shortcodes don’t work. This is breaking a lot of my galleries since I use them throughout my templates/widgets.
I honestly don’t understand why a plugin that boasts that it’s been downloaded 7 million times would change some of the fundamental ways that its users have been allowed to integrate it into their sites. It just seems like it’s needlessly breaking websites when they could/should have just left the old codes in place.
The latest version of NGG now is 2.0.14 and I see the ATP button in the visual editor bar within Posts (haven’t checked pages). It’s the last icon in the bar.
Any update on this? Can you please just confirm whether or not the ability to enter Custom lightbox code was removed? It used to be found under Gallery > Options > Effects – Custom was in the dropdown. Thanks.
I’m using it in a text widget, yes. This is the exact code I have been using:
[album id=3 template=lightbox]
I’m using it with prettyphoto media which creates the lightbox overlay for this.
A stipulation of this plugin is that rel=”prettyPhoto[%GALLERY_NAME%]” needed to be added to NextGEN under Gallery > Options > Effects – select Custom and enter the rel=”prettyPhoto[%GALLERY_NAME%]” code.
I don’t see the option for Custom under Lightbox Effects. Was this removed?
My shortcode was within a sidebar widget, not a post. Do the shortcodes no longer work?
Unfortunately this has also happened to me. My galleries using the same shortcode were opening the first image in a new window. I went under Options/Settings and saw that all templates in the dropdowns under “Gallery Settings” were empty/de-selected.
I’ve managed to get the first image to now popup in an overlay (not a separate window) but now the galleries just aren’t working. It’s just displaying the first image for each.
Any idea what settings you changed to fix the gallery part for you? Thanks.
After updating WP and then upgrading NextGEN to version 2.0.14, I am still also experiencing the [Not a valid template] error. I tried resaving the galleries but it didn’t fix it. The shortcode’s are fine.
I am using prettyphoto media along with this to open them in a lightbox. Not sure what to do but it’s broken many galleries on my site.

In reply to: [HTML5 jQuery Audio Player] Anyway to trick multiple playlist on same page?I also purchased this plugin thinking it could handle multiple playlists per page. I didn’t see that outlined on the site when I purchased it, otherwise I wouldn’t have. I’m pretty frustrated about this.
Has anyone been able to find a free or pay audio player that can handle multiple playlists? I don’t understand why something like a functional and user-friendly audio player is so difficult to find/purchase for WP.
