Second, I have read on previous post that if you used the Metropolis feature to install WP the database is not one you can see in your database section. Why? I don’t know. Either email or call godaddy to fix the issue and avoid Metropolis in the future.

In reply to: APIyou get it from WP.com site. Sign up there, establish a blog and you will get an API key for Akismet and stats. Yes it sounds weird but that is what you need to do.

anyway, if you are using a theme that uses widgets, there may be a widget that you can drag over to the sidebar area and that will work.
