In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Limit the number of files createdI had same issue. Given the lack of response from the creator I can only assume it is what it is with no solution. I know the plugins are free, but no support equals crap plugin.
Egg on face. It is not this plugin it was Yoast Seo plugin.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] How to restore backupMy understanding is that this ‘updated’ version does not have that capability. You have to upload site files via FTP and import the sql file via phpmyadmin.
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
That did it! Thanks!
Looking forward to 3.0.5
This is an easy fix as I had the same issue.
They have PHP 5.3.15 installed on all their servers, you just have to force its use.
Add the code below to you htaccess file.
# Use PHP 5.3 AddType application/x-httpd-php53 .phpForum: Plugins
In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Backup process doesn't startwith 3.0.4 i had to deactivate then activate the plugin to get it to be able run.
I agree with that.
You can downgrade by installing 2.1.17 via ftp. You can pick up the old files at
you need to have PHP 5.3.3 to see S3 function.
You may need to add
# Use PHP 5.3 AddType application/x-httpd-php53 .phpto your htaccess file or ask your host to make sure you server is running 5.3.3 or higher
To use the Plugin with full functionality PHP 5.3.3 with mysqli, FTP,gz, bz2, ZipArchive and curl is needed.
That happened last time too so i am sure it is on its way. 😀

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Settings page does not worki remember reading something about there being a conflict with fancyzoom or something or other. Maybe that is it?
You can get the older versions here…
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/backwpup/developers/
and do a manual install through ftp.
no idea why the S3 would disappear in 3.0.2. Maybe do a clean uninstall and re-install of 3.0.2 first?
that is not true. backing up to S2 is still in the free version.
Try updating to 3.0.2
