I’m trying to set up WordPress MU on Yahoo hosting… We’ll see how it goes.
My first hiccup was locating the database name, userid, password, and database host. There’s no way to find it through the Yahoo admin screens. So I called customer support… I got the same answer you guys got, but the guy gave me an email address to the “Yahoo PHP team”. Well, I’ve sent an email off to them to see if they can help me… If I get any decent support from this, I’ll post the email address.
Has anyone used WordPress MU before? If so, can you programmatically spawn new blogs? Or does it always take ‘hands-on’ to create a new one? I want to create a LOT of blogs (thousands… one for each member of a site I’m starting). Do you think WordPress MU will be able to handle this? If not, is there a product or open source out there that can do this?

(BTW… why couldn’t I register with my real username? I had to use an alternate which sucks! I bet it has to do with the fact that it has ‘code’ in the name… ugh!)
