Well, our IT department is, and honestly, there’s not a lot of Linux folks over there.

In reply to: Custom menu CSS class strippingOhhhhhhhhhhhh….duhhhhhh.
Ok, I get it now. Yes, I was putting the CSS code into the class field. Ok, this makes sense now. I’ll add the style to the CSS and just put the class name in the input field.
Thanks a ton for cluing me in.

In reply to: [WP-Table Reloaded] [Plugin: WP-Table Reloaded] CSS not savingHi Tobias,
Sorry for pestering you with all these questions. I’m also having trouble applying a custom style to a single row. On the page I showed you earlier, I want to bold the text in the second row, the one starting with ‘Sport/Event.’
I followed your FAQ and tried some other CSS statements that I’ve found in the forums, including these:
.wp-table-reloaded-id-1 .row-2 .column-A {font-weight: bold !important; }.wp-table-reloaded-id-1 tbody .row-2 {font-weight: bold!important; }.wp-table-reloaded-id-1 .row-2 td {font-weight: bold!important; }The custom CSS is showing up in the code after saving, I just can’t seem to get it to apply.
Thanks so much again for any help.

In reply to: [WP-Table Reloaded] Colspan: can't get it to takeOk, this is embarrassing. Here’s what I did.
When I was trying to get it to work, I copied #colspan# from the Add colspan help pop-up box and pasted it into the table. What I didn’t realize was that when I did my copy, I picked up an extra chunk of whitespace after the closing hash, so I had this:
‘#colspan# ‘
…instead of this:
‘#colspan#’
So this was all a big ‘DUH’ on my part. But, at least people can keep in mind to make sure there’s no whitespace in #colspan#.
Thanks again for your help and this great tool.

In reply to: [WP-Table Reloaded] Colspan: can't get it to takeOk, it’s a problem on my end.
That page I sent you is on a server that is behind a proxy. So I installed the plugin on a different server that’s publicly facing and it works just fine now.
Not sure why it’s not working on the proxy, but I will look into it and post what I find here.
My apologies for wasting your time! This is a fantastic plugin. Thanks again for your help!

In reply to: [WP-Table Reloaded] Colspan: can't get it to takeHi Tobias,
Thanks for the rapid reply! Here’s a link to the published page.
This site is using a modified version of the 2010 theme, but I also tried the page with the out-of-the-box 2010 theme and got the same result.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Restrict Multisite Widgets] Don't see plugin menu anywhereAdam,
Yes! That worked! It shows up only as Network Admin, which is perfect.
Just an FYI, the Akismet widget wasn’t showing up on the list of widgets to enable/disable, but I did find another post that tells how to hide it.
Thanks so much!!!

In reply to: settings.php missing from installHi Andrea,
Thanks for the reply. We’re using the trunk version of 3.1-alpha, and it’s when I’m in the Site Admin area > Network Options (operational settings, dashboard settings, etc). The file itself is /wp-admin/network/settings.php.
I wanted to Enable administration menus, and when I click ‘Save changes’ it’s redirecting from:
/wp-admin/network/settings.php
to:
/wp-admin/settings.php?updated=true
Which of course it can’t find.
The main site is running on a sub-domain as wpdev.mysite.com, so I’m wondering if that could be the issue.
Thanks again.

In reply to: settings.php missing from installI thought it might make sense to include my .htaccess code here, which I just copied and pasted from the config steps in WordPress:
RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L] # uploaded files RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?files/(.+) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$2 [L] # add a trailing slash to /wp-admin RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?wp-admin$ $1wp-admin/ [R=301,L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d RewriteRule ^ - [L] RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?(wp-(content|admin|includes).*) $2 [L] RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?(.*\.php)$ $2 [L] RewriteRule . index.php [L]Thanks.
